I'm a firm believer in letting people know when they are exemplary, which is why I feel the need to formally review. We worked with Michelle Tarbox and she was a wonderful agent. She knows her job well and it is clear but she enjoys both the work and helping people to find their future home. She is extremely responsive at all times of the day and often checked in with us throughout this process. When we initially reached out to her, we weren't quite ready to sell and Michelle gave us the time that we needed to get things in order and made sure we knew that she was still around without pressuring us. She visited a multitude of houses with us to help find a house in our budget during a hot market and in the geographic region of "somewhere in western New York".
The real reason that Signature will always get my recommendation however is that we had a very difficult transaction. Obviously this is not a routine situation for buyers or sellers and emotions are certainly tied to buying a house. However, time and again, we were surprised by the maliciousness and lack of ethics in dealing with the attorney, the realtor, and at times, the purchaser of our home. Multiple times throughout our transaction, we were met with stonewalling, bullying, and concerning techniques. At no point during this did we feel as though Michelle stooped to the techniques being used against her. She maintained neutrality but guided and assisted us with making some difficult decisions. It is quite rare in this day in age to meet someone who performs their job with such integrity, particularly in this profession. Bravo!
